County (县)
Ding'an
An inland county immediately south of Haikou, inside the capital's integrated economic circle.
定安县 · Part of Haikou integrated economic circle
Ding'an lies directly south of Haikou and is one of the four divisions in the 海澄文定 integrated economic circle, giving it road access to the capital measured in tens of minutes rather than hours.
Its economy is agricultural — it is known for pork, rice and tropical crops — alongside food processing and a growing role as an overspill location for activity priced out of Haikou proper. It has no designated Free Trade Port key park.
