Autonomous county (自治县)
Baisha Li Autonomous County
A central highland county inside the protected interior — tea, rubber and eco-tourism, not industry.
白沙黎族自治县 · Part of Central ecological conservation area
Baisha sits in the island's western interior, within the central ecological conservation area and partly inside Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park. Provincial planning designates this area for protection, which excludes the industrial development pursued on the coast.
Its economy is agricultural and increasingly tourism-linked: Baisha green tea is a recognised product, rubber remains significant, and the national park drives nature tourism.
As with the other central counties, the honest position is that this is a narrow proposition rather than a general one — and a page that pretended otherwise would not be useful.

Free Trade Port zones located here
No Free Trade Port key park is designated in this division. Businesses here rely on the island-wide regime rather than a zone-specific one — which is a real difference, not a formality.

How the incentives apply here
- Island-wide Free Trade Port incentives apply, but the conservation designation constrains industrial and construction activity.

Who this place suits

- Eco-tourism and nature-based hospitality
Our services
Our practice areas cover the whole life of a foreign-owned presence in Hainan — from the feasibility assessment made before anything is filed, through formation and licensing, payroll, tax and ongoing compliance, to the deregistration that closes an entity properly — alongside the Free Trade Port incentives that are the reason to be here rather than anywhere else in China. One engagement model means a single accountable team across all of them.
